1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the VinylGO mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

2. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the VinylGO app for personal use, subject to these terms.

2.1 Permitted Uses

You may use the app to:

• Scan and identify vinyl records using your device camera
• Create, edit, and manage your vinyl collection
• Store vinyl collection data on your device
• Access vinyl news, facts, and educational content
• Export and share your collection information
• Use premium features with an active subscription

2.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Remove or modify any copyright notices or proprietary marks
• Use the app for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or databases
• Distribute, sell, or share the app without authorization
• Use automated systems or bots to scan records in bulk
• Attempt to circumvent premium features or subscription requirements
• Misuse the scanning feature to damage or harm the app functionality

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the accuracy of your vinyl collection data
• Backing up your collection data regularly
• Keeping your device and app updated to the latest version
• Protecting your device access credentials and account information
• Using the camera scanning feature responsibly and safely
• Ensuring you have proper rights to any images or data you add to the app
• Complying with all applicable laws when using the app

4. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the VinylGO app, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, are the property of VinylGO or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Vinyl record information, album art, and artist data are provided by third-party databases and are the property of their respective owners. VinylGO does not claim ownership of this content.

5. Scanning Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate vinyl record identification through our scanning technology, we cannot guarantee:

• 100% accuracy in vinyl record identification
• Complete or error-free album information
• Successful scans in all lighting conditions or record conditions
• Identification of rare, obscure, or unofficial vinyl releases

You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of scanned vinyl information and making corrections as needed.

6. Premium Subscription

6.1 Free Trial

VinylGO offers a 7-day free trial for new premium subscribers. After the trial period, your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

6.2 Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions are available on monthly or yearly basis
• Payment will be charged to your app store account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your app store account settings
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

6.3 Premium Features

Premium subscription includes:

• Unlimited vinyl scans per day
• Advanced collection statistics and insights
• Cloud backup and sync across devices
• Export collection in multiple formats
• Ad-free experience
• Early access to new features
• Priority customer support

7. Content and Data

Vinyl record information, including album details, artist information, and cover art, is sourced from third-party databases and APIs. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee completeness or correctness of this information.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VinylGO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the app
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your data
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the app
• Any errors or omissions in content or vinyl information
• Loss or damage to your vinyl collection data
• Inaccurate vinyl identification or scanning results
• Device damage from camera usage

9. Camera and Device Usage

You acknowledge that:

• You use the camera scanning feature at your own risk
• We are not responsible for any device damage during camera usage
• You should use the camera feature in appropriate lighting and safe conditions
• You are responsible for proper device handling while scanning

10. Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Update or modify the app at any time without prior notice
• Change, add, or discontinue features or functionality
• Modify subscription pricing with 30 days notice for existing subscribers
• Modify these Terms of Use at any time
• Temporarily or permanently discontinue the app

Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Third-Party Content and Services

The app may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third parties. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

• Breach of these Terms of Use
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of app features or services
• Non-payment of subscription fees

Upon termination, your license to use the app will immediately cease.

13. Warranty Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the app developer is located, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
